KABAKA's WALK

Approx length: 3.5 km - 1 hour 15 mins(to the end and back)

One of the quicker walks on Bulago, this track leads you to the end of the Kabaka's land.  Around the bay and through lush equatorial forest where many endangered African Grey Parrots like to hang out and nest in some of the islands biggest trees.

The track is flat and mostly shaded with a picnic spot located at the end.   Boat pick-ups are available from One Minute South if you don't feel like the return journey.

BULAGO TWIN PEAKS

Approx length: 7 km - 3 hours

Completing the Bulago twin peaks walk is considered a major achievement for us laid back islanders and definitely one worthy of being rewarded with a free drink at One Minute South once completed.  It is recommended that the northern peak is left until last in order to catch an incredible view of the sunset before heading back.  The southern peak has a gazebo shade perfect for taking a break for lunch before winding your way back.

ISLAND CIRCUIT

Approx length: 10 km - 4 hours 30 mins

The Island Circuit takes you the full length of Bulago, down to Kachanga and the quiet, sandy southern point where you can walk out into the lake along the sandbar and soak up some rays on the beach.  The coastal walk keeps the lake by your side the entire way so keep your eyes peeled for our resident families of otters; or you might even catch a glimpse of the crocodile.
